In general, I’ve tried not to repeat posting shots from 2026 that were taken in 2016, unless the change within that decade became something of note in itself.
In the 2026 trip, I found myself relying on my iPhone 17 Pro Max for daylight shots and many of the low light shots, which speaks to how much there has been a change in technology in that decade.
The convenience of having a camera with a lens ranging from 13mm to 200mm at the flick of a finger has made casual photography much easier than toting multiple lenses, however, in low-light conditions, the f1.4 aperture of my Sigma lens still provides a tangible benefit.
